Sports Authority of India invites applications for the appointment of coaches on purely contractual basis for an initial period of one year, separately for the two areas, one for the Centers SAI Northeast, Imphal & Guwahati (concerning states of Arunachal Pradesh , Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Nagaland and Sikkim) and others for the rest of the country.

Coaches hired for the ISC, Northeast Center is displayed in the region of North-East and only coach hired for the rest of the country are likely to serve in one of the country through the Office of the ISC, except for the Northeast Region. No request for transfer to another special place for the duration of the contract would be treated.

The option to choose the coach and the subsequent transfer will be only to the competent authorities. The approximate nos. of vacancies in each discipline are for the North East Region and the rest of the country, respectively.

Salary: Consolidated salary of Rs.15,660/- per month.

Age Limit: Max 30 years as on 15.3.2010 (Last date of receipt of application). Relaxation in age would be
admissible as per rules of Govt. of India.


Essential Qualification: - Diploma in Coaching from SAI NS-NIS Patiala or from any other recognized Indian/ Foreign University

OR

Participation in Olympics/Asian Games/World Championship in the discipline
concerned with a Certificate Course in Coaching.

Desirable Qualification: B. P. Ed.
