Mila Kunis Cancels Marine Ball Date

62952164

Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake gets his own invitation

Well, you can say awwww again, but this time for a very different reason: Looks like Mila Kunis won't be going to the ball with the Marine who invited her on YouTube after all. Gawker and Reuters note that yesterday on Access Hollywood Live, Billy Bush announced Kunis can't go because she's filming two movies around the time of the November ball.

But, Bush said, Kunis is going to try to meet with Sgt. Scott Moore at another time.

And, in a separate report, Access Hollywood also notes Kunis may try to rearrange her schedule to attend the ball.

That's what Richard Lawson would like to see happen: After all, it "would be incredibly bad PR to back out at this point, wouldn't it?" he writes on Gawker. "C'mon, Mila. You can't do this to the poor guy.

Find a way.

Lovestruck U.S. Marine stationed in Afghanistan To Date Mila Kunis

Lovestruck Sgt. Scott Moore, a U.S. Marine stationed in Afghanistan, scored a date with actress Mila Kunis by posting an earnest 19-second video on YouTube last week.

The video has now been viewed by over 400,000 people—including Kunis and her “Friends with Benefits” costar Justin Timberlake.

Over the weekend, with some prodding from us on the “Friends with Benefits” red carpet in Los Angeles, Timberlake convinced Kunis to attend the Marine Corps Ball with Sgt. Moore in Greenville, NC later this fall.

“You need to do it for your country,” Timberlake insisted, before directing his message to Sgt. Moore, “I’m going to work on this, man. This needs to go down.”

Kunis agreed, “I’ll do it,” and then Monday Tweeted her delight.

“I’m so happy to be going to the Marine corps Ball!”

But FOX411.com isn’t finished playing cupid. We’ve learned some love secrets that may help Sgt. Moore win fair Ms. Kunis’ heart.

First Sgt. Moore, if you’re hoping to get lucky on the night of the Marine Corps Ball, you’d better think again—Kunis is not down with having “friends with benefits.”

“It’s like communism—good in theory, in execution it fails,” Kunis explains in the new issue of GQ. “Friends of mine have done it, and it never ends well. Why do people put themselves through that torture?”

Kunis does admit that she falls in love easily, so Sgt. Moore, don’t play with her emotions. “When two people who like each other have sex, eventually someone catches feelings and everything is f**ked. You might be able to treat our relationship as killing time. I might not. I may be in love with you.”

And good news! The Corps ball is in November, just as Kunis will be wrapping her new film, “Ted” with Mark Wahlberg, so the timing might be perfect for a love match.

And the best news?

“I am single,” Kunis confirms.

Semper fi, Sgt. Moore.

Megan Fox Uploads Photos To Facebook Disproving Botox Rumors

In the great tradition of disproving botox rumors, a very expressive Megan Fox uploaded a 'Things You Can't Do With Your Face When You Have Botox' album to Facebook.

The actress took four photos showing a range of facial expressions from a rumpled forehead to eyebrow furrowing to looks of scorn and shock. Fox sent a pretty clear and simple message: her beauty, as unbelievable as it is, is all real.

Bristol Palin On 'The View': 'That's Why It's Called Losing Your Virginity'

Bristol Palin The View Virginity

During an appearance on ABC's "The View" on Thursday, Bristol Palin was asked by Barbara Walters about her suggestion that Levi Johnston, her ex-boyfriend and father of her son, stole her virginity.

Walters presented the question in the context of what Palin says about having sex for the first time in her recently released memoir Not Afraid of Life: My Journey So Far.

"I'm not accusing him of date rape or anything with that," said the 20-year-old daughter of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin. "I just use that analogy of losing your virginity. That's why it's called losing your virginity."

She later added, "If I wasn't drunk, no that night wouldn't have happened."

The AP relays background on the matter:

Bristol Palin writes in her new book of losing her virginity to boyfriend Levi Johnston on a camping trip after getting drunk for the first time on too many wine coolers.

She awoke in her tent, alone, with no memories of what had happened as Johnston "talked with his friends on the other side of the canvas." She had vowed to wait until marriage. And she had lied to her parents about where she was going.

Asked about her mother's political ambitions for 2012, Palin wouldn't let any details slip.

Celebrity Chef Film Bombs, Taking Just $181

Gordon Ramsay celebrity chef film, Love's Kitchen, bombs - taking just $181

  • Just 20 people saw it, says box office analyst
  • Film took just £121 ($181) in Australia

At some point, somebody involved with the romantic comedy Love's Kitchen must have thought that it was a recipe for success, but box office figures out yesterday told a very different story.

The UK film, starring Dougray Scott (who previously appeared in Desperate Housewives as Teri Hatcher's love interest), Four Weddings and a Funeral actor Simon Callow and Gordon Ramsay (as himself), had indeed achieved one of the most remarkable opening weekends in cinema history, though not quite in the sense that the producers were hoping for.

Love's Kitchen grossed precisely £121 ($181) nationwide, The (London) Times reported.

The entire UK takings would cover the cost for one person of the cheapest available dinner with two small glasses of house wine, coffee and chocolates at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay, the Michelin-starred chef's eatery in Royal Hospital Road, West London.

The record UK box office taking for an opening weekend belongs to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, which grossed £18.32 million $27.4 million) last November.

Love's Kitchen, by contrast, appears to have been seen by more reviewers than paying punters. You would hope that they enjoyed writer and director James Hacking's debut film more than the critics.

Wendy Ide, of the Times, awarded it no stars, describing it as "cack-handed, cloth-eared" and featuring "exchanges so painful to watch that you would be better off rubbing Scotch bonnet peppers in your eyes."

Charles Gant, a box office analyst, said that the film's opening weekend was "one of the worst performances ever" in the UK. "My guess would be 20 people saw this film," he said.

Californian Wins Miss USA 2011 Crown (Photos)

Las Vegas, Jun 20 : A 21-year-old auburn-haired California girl won the Miss USA crown on Sunday night and will represent the nation in this year's Miss Universe pageant in September in Brazil.

Alyssa Campanella of Los Angeles topped a field of 51 beauty queens to take the title at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on the Las Vegas Strip. She strutted across the stage in a blue bikini with white polka dots and a dark turquoise evening gown with beading on its top.

She also answered a question about legalizing marijuana by saying she didn't think it should be fully legalized as a solution to help ailing economies.

"Well, I understand why that question would be asked, especially with today's economy, but I also understand that medical marijuana is very important to help those who need it medically," she said. "I'm not sure if it should be legalized, if it would really affect, with the drug war. I mean, it's abused today, unfortunately, so that's the only reason why I would kind of be a little bit against it, but medically it's OK."

Miss Tennessee Ashley Durham was the first runner-up, while contestants from Alabama and Texas placed third and fourth.

Campanella, a self-described history buff and natural blonde, said she dyed her hair six years ago for a part in a play, for a 'fiery' character with whom she found she had traits in common.

"It's really brought out the true Alyssa Campanella, I feel, and that's why I really enjoy being a redhead," she said.

Campanella replaces Miss USA 2010 Rima Fakih. The Michigan woman teared up as she walked across the stage for a final goodbye.

The pageant had three competitions: swimsuit, evening gown and interview question.

The contestants were whittled to 16 after the show's opening number, in which the beauty queens introduced themselves one-by-one. The top 16 were picked by preliminary judges through competitions and interviews during the week before the telecast. Celebrity judges picked the top eight after the swimsuit competition and the top 4 after the evening gown portion.

Durham appeared to stumble as she answered a question from celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito about whether the First Amendment should protect burning religious books, as it protects burning the flag.

"I know that some people view it as a freedom of speech, however, burning the American flag is not patriotic at all," Durham said. "No American citizen should do that, and you should also respect other religions. I'm a Christian and a faithful person. I would personally not appreciate someone burning the Bible, and that's just a line you do not cross."

Miss Kentucky Kia Ben-et Hampton won Miss Congeniality USA, while Miss Arizona Brittany Dawn Brannon won Miss Photogenic USA.
