Aizawl, May 10 : Mizo Zirlai Pawl (MZP) or Mizo Students Federation today expressed displeasure for not being invited in the discussion on the issues of Inner Line Permit, lifting of Protected Area Permit (PAP) by the Centre and the Bru problem, convened by the state Home minister R Lalzirliana tomorrow. Addressing a press conference, MZP leaders said that the student body was left out in the meeting where major political parties and all the NGOs were invited.
"The MZP regarded the government's decision very seriously as we have been involved in the issues all the time," student leaders said, adding that the government should explain why the MZP was not invited to the meeting.
The student leaders also said that they also appealed to all the NGOs and the opposition parties not to attend the home minister's meeting through the media as there was time constraint to formally made written appeals.
