Now you can take a leak the hi-tech way.
Thiruvananthapuram, May 11 : A Technopark-firm has brought out e-toilets that feature automatic power flushing, closet washing, sterilisation, and platform cleaning mechanisms.
Brand named ‘Delight’, these e-toilets have already been installed at various parts of the state including Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi and Kozhikode.
The Technopark-based Eram Scientific Solutions has brought out the environment-friendly toilets. Structured using fibre, stainless steel and aluminium, the e-toilets have an automatic payment collection system.
Once a coin is inserted, the door will open automatically. Instructions on using the toilet are displayed in the cubicle.
A self cleaning system and a hand pipe are provided. Closet will be either Indian type or European. Once a person leaves the closet, the automatic washing system will work.
After a fixed number of uses, the platform of the closet will be cleaned by another system.
